The Original Montgomery Inn

General Information

The Original Montgomery Inn Has 7 Private Rooms for your needs. We can accommodate groups as small as 8 guests up to 200 - specializing in Weddings, Rehearsal Dinners, Corporate Events, and Family Dinners.

Menu Selection

Our banquet menu offers a wide variety of creative choices and, of course, our Montgomery Inn signature items. Please keep in mind that these are merely suggestions and we are always willing to accommodate your needs. Menu prices are subject to change, but are guaranteed thirty days prior to your event. Food is not permitted to be brought into the Inn from an outside venue.

Beverage Selection

The catering staff is happy to assist you in selecting beverages to compliment your meal. No alcoholic beverages will be permitted to be brought into The Montgomery Inn. The Inn’s alcoholic beverage license requires that we request proper identification (photo I.D.) of any person of questionable age, and refuse alcoholic beverage service if the person is either underage or proper identification cannot be produced. We also retain the right to refuse alcoholic beverage service to any person who, in the Inn’s judgment appears intoxicated.

Other Charges

All food and beverage prices are subject to 18% gratuity charge plus 6.5% Ohio sales tax. Audio - visual and other service goods are subject to state tax only. Federal, State, and local governments are tax- exempt organizations. A completed tax exemption form must be presented at the time of payment. For private parties, a room rental charge will be assessed.

Guarantee

A final guaranteed number of guests for your function is required no later than three business days prior to your event. This minimum number of guests will be considered a guarantee for which you will be charged, even if fewer guests attend. If not informed of the final number, we will use your originally expected number as the guarantee. Based on your final number of guests, we will be prepared to set and serve 3-5% above the guarantee number. If your final number of guests is less than the guaranteed number for the room, charges will be assessed according to the signed contract.

Deposit, Cancellation and Payment Policy

An initial deposit and signed contract will be required to secure your reservation. Cancellation must be made fourteen (14) days before the scheduled event in order to receive a full refund. Payment will be required at the conclusion of your function. The Inn accepts the following forms of payment: American Express, Visa, Master Card, Diners Club, Discover, Corporate checks, or cash. Please note that credit cards are not accepted by phone.

Engineering and Audio-Visual

Special electrical requirements must be specified to our banquet coordinator at least three weeks prior to the function. The Inn is staffed with an on-site audio- visual company that can supply complete audio - visual rental services. Should you elect to use an outside audio-visual company, a service fee may be assessed.

Damage/Loss of Property

The customer agrees to accept responsibility for any damage done to the function room or any part of the Inn, prior to, during or following their function. The Inn does not accept responsibility for damage or loss of any merchandise or articles left in the Inn prior to, during or following a function. Security arrangements should be made for all merchandise or articles set up prior to the planned event or left unattended for any time.

Banquet Space Policy

Function rooms are assigned according to the anticipated guaranteed number of guest. The Inn reserves the right to reassign banquet rooms in order to facilitate operations. It is policy of the Inn not to reserve banquet space for “promoter” functions; for example: dances, concerts or any function which intends to hold general admission ticket sales.

Special Services

The Inn provides a limited selection of tablecloths and napkins on a complimentary basis. Additional colors and fabrics are available on a rental basis. Flowers, candles, and other decorations provide a lovely atmosphere and our staff is happy to provide you with suggestions that will make your event a special occasion.

Parking

The Inn offers ample parking at no charge. Valet parking is also available during the dinner hour.

Bearcat Room (600)   (Minimum of 15 guests) $150 Deposit, $50 Room Charge,$100 coupon, if minimum is met.
Back Room (900)   (Minimum of 15 guests) $150 Deposit, $50 Room charge, $100 coupon, if minimum is met.
Skybox   (Minimum of 15 guests) $150 Deposit, $50 Room charge, $100 coupon, if minimum is met.

ALL ROOMS HAVE A $25.00 PER MISSING SEAT IF YOU FALL BELOW THE MINIMUM GUEST COUNT NOT TO EXCEED $100.

THE BEARCAT ROOM (600) & BACK ROOM (900) ARE NOT BOOKED ON SATURDAY NIGHTS, EXCEPT DURING THE MONTH OF DECEMBER. WHEN BOOKING ALL THREE BANQUET ROOMS TOGETHER ON A SATURDAY EVENING A MINIMUM GUEST COUNT OF 125 WILL BE APPLIED. (with missing seats charged up to 125)
