World-famous and a local favorite, our original location in the Village of Montgomery, northeast of downtown, has become a local institution. Our history spans more than five decades and our ribs have tingled the taste buds of millions around the world.

For rib-lovers – succulent, juicy, baby-back pork ribs – there is no place on the planet that compares to the original Montgomery Inn. Great food and a great atmosphere makes our original Montgomery Inn a must among the area's culinary institutions.

In 1951, when the "Ribs King" Ted Gregory and wife Matula, purchased McCabe's Inn," and subsequently rechristened it "The Montgomery Inn." they had no idea the restaurant was soon to become a world famous family restaurant company, with nightly lines of eager diners waiting sometimes hours to be seated.

The food is great, the wait staff is wonderful and of course, this place is all about ribs, the world's greatest. Slow-roasted, sweet ribs, our kitchen cooks on average 250 twenty-five pound cases of ribs per day, and the meat literally falls off the bone. Get a full-order of ribs and some Saratoga chips and you'll share an experience with 99% of Greater Cincinnatians.

The uncompromising quality of our ribs keeps folks coming back. But other specialties include Saratoga chips (extra-thick potato chips with barbecue sauce on the side for dipping), majestic cuts of grilled steaks and tender, tasty chicken.
