Montgomery Inn - Fort Mitchell

Montgomery Inn - Northern Kentucky Lunch now served Monday – Friday!

Upbeat, fun atmosphere – Montgomery Inn, Ft. Mitchell, KY

The sweet smell of Montgomery Inn's barbecued ribs now wafts from a point south of the Ohio River.

A Montgomery Inn restaurant opened at 400 Buttermilk Pike near the Drawbridge Inn and Convention Center.

"A lot of people don't come across the Ohio River, a Kentucky location made sense."

The restaurant is smaller than both the original restaurant in Montgomery, which seats around 700 people, and the Montgomery Inn at the Boathouse, which sits on the banks of the Ohio River downtown and seats 550.

Fort Mitchell's location can accommodate about 200 people, including seats at the bar, he said.

Those who know the Montgomery Inn restaurant will notice a simpler menu at the Fort Mitchell stop. But staples such as the barbecued pork loin back ribs, and the ribs/chicken and ribs/shrimp combinations are still part of the menu.

Karen and Jim Burns of Florence and their 15-year-old daughter Kathy were among the crowd who tested the new post. "We love the ribs," Mrs. Burns said as she donned her rib bib. We'll be here a lot."
