Private Banquet & Meeting Facilities

Thank you for your interest in Montgomery Inn at the Boathouse and our private banquet and meeting facilities.

Our hours of operation are:

Lunch: Monday-Friday 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Dinner: Monday-Thursday 3:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
  Friday-Saturday 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
  Sunday 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Private rooms are available for lunch or dinner, accommodating parties from as few as eight (8) to as many as ninety (90) people. Party sizes depend upon availability of rooms.

These private rooms are subject to a room charge, which is required as a deposit for the room. The room charge is in addition to the cost of food, beverage, tax and gratuity. When speaking with our Banquet Manager, please inquire as to the minimum number of people per private party. Private luncheon parties are also subject to a room charge.

Due to the sizes of luncheon and/or dinner parties, we feel it is necessary to set a limited menu based upon our standard luncheon or dinner menu. Enclosed you will find our selected menu and our buffet hors d-oeuvres and appetizers list that is available for your private party. All prices are subject to change without notice.

We also offer an array of desserts or specialty cakes and pastries. The Boathouse has an extensive wine list, priced from $15.00 to $120.00 per bottle. Selections include Merlot, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, White Zinfandel, and Champagne, to name a few.

For your Spring, Summer or Fall functions, our Beer Garden is available for parties of seventy (70) up to and including one hundred (100) for a sit-down dinner or luncheon. The Room Charge for such an event is $250.00 The Beer Garden has an awning and beautiful view of the Ohio River and Sawyer Point Park. In case of inclement weather, a clear drop cloth encloses the entire area.

The Turf Room, which is located on the second floor of our facility, is available year- round. This room is equipped to accommodate up to ninety (90) people for a sit-down dinner or luncheon.

The Turf Room can also be sectioned off into two separate rooms; Turf Room -A-, which can accommodate up to sixty (60) people, and Turf Room -B-, which can accommodate up to thirty (30) people. The room charges are as follows: Turf Room -A & B- -- $300.00. Turf Room -A- - $200.00. Turf Room -B- -- $150.00. Turf Room -A- and Turf Room -A & B-, as one, has a beautiful view of the city and Sawyer Point Park. Turf Room -B-, alone, has no view, but is tastefully decorated. These rooms are available Sunday through Friday and not on Saturdays.

For smaller, more intimate parties and/or meetings, we also offer the Kentucky Speedway Room. This room faces historic Mt. Adams. The year-round facility comfortably accommodates up to thirty (30) people, and can also be sectioned off into two separate rooms; one room can accommodate up to ten (10) people, and the other room can accommodate up to twenty (20) people. The room charges for the Kentucky Speedway Room (KYS) are as follows: KYS -A & B- -- $150.00. KYS -A- -- $100.00. KYS -B- -- $50.00.

All of our private rooms have minimum number of guest requirements. Please ask about these requirements when speaking to our Banquet Manager.

Valet Parking is available, and the Boathouse is completely handicapped accessible.

For a rental fee, audio and visual equipment is available in all private rooms.

Our accepted methods of payment are all major credit cards and the Montgomery Inn House Charge accounts. We do not direct bill.

Reservations are accepted for lunch and dinner general dining, and are considered priority seating. Saturday reservations are accepted for our first seating at 3:00 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. at half-hour intervals. After 4:30 p.m., we are on a first-come, first-serve basis.

In order that your party goes as smoothly as possible, we offer a package menu for lunch and/or dinner. When making your reservation, please notify us if you would prefer to use our pre-set menu. With a pre-set menu, at the time of seating, you and your guests will instruct the server of your choice of the five or six items listed. These menus are available for both private and non-private parties.

USING I – 71 SOUTH

Exit Gilbert Avenue – at the bus station turn right onto E. Court St. – take first left onto Reedy Rd. – turn left at traffic light onto Eggleston Ave. – Eggleston will dead end at Pete Rose Way, turn left - Pete Rose Way will become Eastern Avenue and we are on the right hand side.

USING I – 71 NORTH

Exit Columbia Parkway – take Truck Route Exit which is Bains Ave. – turn right at traffic light onto Eastern Ave. – we are a just down the road on the left hand side.

USING I – 75 NORTH

Cross over the bridge and take the 2nd St. exit. Follow 2nd St. across town and exit at Pete Rose Way in front of the First Star Center. Turn left on to Pete Rose Way. Follew Pete Rose Way until it becomes Eastern Ave. and we are on the right.

USING I – 75 SOUTH

Stay in the left hand lanes as you approach Downtown. Take the 2nd St. exit – Follow 2nd St. across town and exit at Pete Rose Way in front of the First Star Center. Turn loft on to Pete Rose Way. Follow Pete Rose Way until it becomes Eastern Ave. and we are on the right.

USING 471 NORTH

Come across the bridge into Ohio – take Columbia Parkway exit heading east (Route 50 east) – take the Truck Route exit which is Bains Ave. – make right onto Eastern Ave. and we are on the left hand side.

FROM DOWNTOWN CINCINNATI

Take any street that heads towards the river – make a left onto 2nd St. – exit 2nd St. at Pete Rose Way – turn left on to Pete Rose Way – follow Pete Rose Way until it becomes Eastern Ave. and we are on the right hand side.

FROM COLUMBIA PARKWAY (ROUTE 50 WEST)

Take the I -71 / I-75 exit just before downtown, follow sign to right for Eggleston – the road will fork again and follow this to the left – at traffic light turn left onto Eggleston Ave. – Eggleston will dead end into Pete Rose Way – turn left at light onto Pete Rose Way – this will become Eastern Ave and we are on the right hand side.
